Providing exceptional, nurturing and engaging out-of-school programming for Winchester's working families. The Winchester After School Program, Inc. d.b.a. Kids' Corner, is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that has proudly served Winchester since 1982.

Through structured and unstructured activities we strive to help children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and creatively. Our wonderful and dedicated team of teachers does their best to make sure that each and every day is a memorable one.

The Kids’ Corner Advantage

  • Low child to teacher ratios allow for more individualized learning
  • Professional educators with backgrounds in education and child development
  • Onsite enrichments during program hours (e.g. karate, gymnastics, science, Math Magicians) that allow parents to stay at work and allow more family time on weekends
  • Experiential, project-oriented learning that is social and fun
  • Outside-of-the-box learning opportunities - no "one size fits all"
  • Classes divided by grade groups enables our teachers to focus curriculum on the specific needs of their group
  • Curriculum Frameworks that focus on developing the whole person
  • Highly committed staff with low staff turnover
  • Strong, supportive, vibrant, creative community
  • Our center-based model allows children to foster friendships across schools that they bring to the sport fields, clubs, middle school, and beyond
  • As a nonprofit, we give everything you invest back to your kids
  • Established in 1982, we have strong, long-standing connections to the Winchester community
