Community & Fundraising Events
Kids’ Corner has a terrific community of families, and we like to get them together as much as we can. We offer three types of events during the school year.

Fundraisers are planned by our admin team, a Task Force and our Marketing & Development Director. They are online/in person events where the proceeds go towards important professional development for teachers, building upgrades, special performers, field trips and more!

Board of Directors Events are planned and organized by the Parent Board and are social community events for building a supportive network among parents and ultimately amplifying Kids’ Corner’s mission.
With your support from last year, we were able to:
Provide a STEM Museum of Science workshop & a MAPS classroom behavior management workshop for our teachers (total: $2,825)
Update our security system and install new carpeting (total: $8,700)
The students went on four program-wide field trips on Early Release Days (average cost of each field trip: $1,041)
The students also enjoyed four special performances on Early Release Days (average cost of each performance: $1,043)

Friday, October 4th: Halloween Movie Night Community Event at Kids’ Corner. This year we are featuring the movie Coco. Come decked out in your costume and enjoy a pizza dinner on the lawn and a good family flick with others in our community! $10/person, $15/pizza.

Tuesday, December 3rd: Giving Tuesday Fundraiser. Consider supporting Kids’ Corner this giving season. You can donate on Facebook or Paypal. Please note that if you work for a company that allows donation matching, this is a GREAT opportunity to utilize that benefit! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year where participation at any size remains our primary goal.

Friday, January 24th: Pajama Bingo Night Community Event at the Sons of Italy in Winchester. A night of family fun with bingo, prizes, pizza, groovy dance breaks, and more! $15/person, includes pizza dinner & 5 bingo cards. Registration coming soon!

Saturday, April 12th: Epic Night Out Fundraiser at Night Shift Brewing (adults only). A fun night out with music, dancing, games, raffles & tasty food! Parents only. More information and registration coming soon!

What is Sawyer? Sawyer is the website that we use that has online registration for our enrichments, programs and events. Making an account for your family is easy and free. Once you have created your profile, you can sign up for our programs and pay using your credit card on your account.
